We have had fantastic weather for November - walked in T-shirts!! Our second time here, enjoyed out stay again. Relaxed & refreshed. Thank you.

A perfect house to relax in & to have a great holiday. We have had great weather all week with good walks. Good food at the Potting Shed in Applecross & also at the Torridon Inn. Both very reasonable. Seen lots of wildlife near the house including deer, otter, golden eagle & three wild black goats. Waterfall at the back of the house is nice to walk round. Already planning to return. Many thanks.

The views were good, but the weather was bad :-(

Fabulous property in a stunning location. So peaceful; here's hoping the mobile reception stays away!! Climbed Beinn Alligin over the horns on a stunning day and Beinn Eighe in mixed conditions. Many thanks. A lovely place & glorious scenery

Mixed weather of sunshine & showers. We saw the loch in many states from millpond calm to inky black waves. What a beautiful place. One of our party fell at Torridon and had to go to Skye as wrist broken. Fabulous attention from medical teams at Torridon and the hospital. Thank you.

What a truly beautiful place - we so much enjoyed the peace & ever-changing views and vistas. Thank you so much.

Great time, lots of rain! Three children so worred when booked about lack of broadband (NB: now installed) and TV reception. But NO ONE has missed it. Children (and adults) do not want to leave. So much to do, so little time. What beauty. Thank goodness for digital cameras. We all want to come back. PS can someone kill the midges please. (NB Scotland wouldn't be the same without the midges!!)

We have had a great time at Brachen House. We saw Pine Martens every night (2). They like jam, peanut butter, coco rocks and bread. We saw a seal, wild mountain goats and a red stag. We also saw small green toads. We climbed up the hill at the back of the house and could not find the pathway back so we followed the stream down (so be careful!). We hope to come back. Holland Brady - age 9.
PS. The Pine Martens come between 9.30 and 10.30. But they did come one time at 8.30. They come looking for food at the sunroom window.

A lovely week, weather has been kind. Lots of wildlife and the biggest pair of pollocks we've ever seen! Bumper crop of midgies as well! Thank you.

Many thanks for Mrs & Mr Davies. We felt warmly welcome in your cottage. We loved the silence and loneliness. The weather was fine for a lot of tours. We are so sad to have to leave today!

We've had such a relaxing week, gazing out over the bay, spotting wildlife and lapping up the view. The house has been perfect - plenty of room for 6 adults and two dogs, and we've made full use of all the living spaces. The weather has been kind and allowed us to bag four munros! Perfect!

Lovely 2 weeks - home from home. Beautiful scenery, amazing wildlife.

Wow! What a fantastic place. We have really enjoyed every minute here. Thank you so much for sharing the place with us. Weather was showery and windy which I suppose gave us a great excuse for pottering outside and then dashing back for yet another cuppa in the sun lounge! Pine martens were great to see. We will be back - promise!

Fab week. Beautiful scenery and visits from Marty the pine marten, who we fed on jam & peanut butter. Can't thank our daughter & son in law enough for bringing us to this very special place.

Thanks for these special days here is Diabaig. We love this remote place surrounded by fabulous nature. The sunny Monday felt like a day in the spring. We will be back one day....

A great winter break in glorious surroundings. Rained a lot but still got out - dogs loved it here.

16 October 2010, Family Bosch, Rotterdam
What to say after a week in a very comfortable house. Beautiful scenery several encounters with a stag crossing the road. The most magnificent bad weather (even to Dutch standards) and sugar coated munros. Well just this: Scotland is Grand!

2 October 2010, Lance, Terri and Magic, Aldershot
Absolutely fantastic time. Cottage is exceptional, as is Diabaig. Lovely neighbours as well, human and wildlife. Thanks Russ & Chris
